Even early in his career, Manfred Landig stood out for his determination to go beyond the status quo. As both a dedicated hunter and skilled refrigeration engineer, he explored new ways to cool and preserve game, developing pioneering solutions. This passion laid the groundwork for what would become a fast-growing company based in Germany.

Founded in 1982, the company has grown from a small workshop into a globally active business. Still rooted in southern Germany and shaped by strong family values, it is now run by Manfred Landig together with his sons Christian, Aaron, and Andreas. Despite its international success, the company retains the hands-on spirit of its early days — with a team committed to craftsmanship and dedicated to delivering the best for their customers.

Manfred Landig showed a talent for innovation from an early age. As a passionate hunter and trained refrigeration specialist, he envisioned a better method for cooling game — and in 1982, he founded his own company to bring that vision to life. Christian and Aaron, Manfred’s sons, spent their youth experimenting with tools and ideas in their father’s workshop. What began as playful curiosity soon showed real promise. By 2012, it was clear they had uncovered something significant — a breakthrough in meat maturation. What started as a hobby had turned into true innovation. And from that point on, there was no holding them back.

After countless hours of development and refinement, the two brothers proudly unveiled their new meat aging innovation to the public. With the launch of the DRYAGER website and their first appearances at trade shows, the response was overwhelming. The enthusiasm from industry professionals was unmistakable — but this was only the start of their journey.
